Welcome to the Asgard starter guide[]

Here you'll find a lot of information to help you get started inside of Asgard!

the more advanced info can be found on the main page

First Login[]

Upon logging into Asgard you're greeted with the option to skip the tutorial. If you choose to skip the tutorial you'll begin your very first steps into Asgard.

Welcome to kyros

At this stage you'll be greeted with the Game mode selection screen, After you choose your game mode, you will be prompted to choose your experience rate

So now you've gotten past selecting your chosen mode that's available at this current point. We move on to your next steps within Asgard,

Banking and Trading

You can bank or open the trading post by right clicking on the wall in front of the donator and vote shop

Bank M

Referrals and freebies[]

First off is the Referral Tutor and daily reward wizard. These kind fellas are located in the bank at Home (Ctrl + H or ::home). When you talk to the Referral Tutor, you can claim various referral rewards. Below you will see the ref tutor on the right and the daily reward wizard on the left

Ref tutor N

Your next stage is to speak to the spinning Discord icon located just outside the bank west of ::home. once your discord is synced you will gain points as long as your logged in that you can spend in the shop.

Discord N

When you talk to him, he'll tell you to head to the discord server and look for the channel, Here's a direct link -> https://discord.gg/6VUKMZEtBd

Once you get inside the channel all you have to type is "!connect" in the #discord-link channel, and the server bot will drop you a message with your secret code, for syncing your account. You need to go back to the game Right click the discord icon and hit "Sync". There you'll be greeted with a new Interface. Press sync inside of there and you'll be able to enter your code from the discord bot.

Also as a note boosting the discord server gives:

  • 10% bonus damage to all styles
  • 10% Extra chance of rare rewards from all raids
  • 10% Chance to double achievement points!
  • & 2 Ultra mystery boxes a week!!

Unique skills[]

We have two unique skills, Fortune and Demon Hunter

Fortune and demon slayer skill

Fortune levels are earned when you smelt items or upgrade items and the skill is also located in the bottom right of your skill panel. this will also get you nomad points and new gear

Located to the left of the Fortune skill is the Demon Hunter skill, where as you kill bosses, you'll earn XP and level the skill up by killing bosses, and as you level up you'll get more drop rate, There are also pets that increase your drop rate, donor benefits and items!

  • Level 20 + 2% Drop rate
  • Level 50 + 3% Drop rate
  • Level 75 + 5% Drop rate
  • Level 99 + 7% Drop rate

You've done all of that! Now what? You can go your own way and start your Asgard adventure for yourself, or you can continue reading and get an idea of where to start your adventure.

RuneLite plugins[]

This part is not immediately important, but it would be a good idea to take a look at all of the RuneLite plugins to see all the extra features and customisation ArkCane offers

Start training![]

Combat[]

From this point, you can start levelling up your combat stats. I strongly suggest you kill Rock Crabs. There is an achievement you can complete that rewards you with a few weapons that are better than the starter weapons.

The combat shops can be found East of home, for all the supplies you could need for starting out

Combat shops N

Getting to Rock Crabs, open the teleport interface via the teleport button or by using the shortcut key "ctrl+T"

After levelling up and getting some combat gear, you should move onto the Perk Finder Minigame, to try your luck at getting some very handy perks, before you move onto mid game content such as bossing

Achievements[]

Achievements, found in the bottom of the quest tab, are very rewarding and worth doing as a new player to get nomad points. these nomad points are the main currency in game and can be used to buy better gear from other players or upgrade existing gear at the Foundry/strange machine

Achievments

AFK Zone[]

The AFK zone at ::AFK is a very good way of making some money as a starter or buying upgrades, you interact with anything at this zone and wait a few seconds and you will start AFKing. when the AFK boss spawns it will teleport you to the boss and back to AFK when its dead. as simple as that, leave your client running, come back and you have some loot

you can heavily increase your afk points by having a pet with the afk mastery perk

AFKzone

Knowledge to Asgard[]

The thing you should do at this point is complete the "Knowledge to Asgard" quest. The quest will teach you a little bit about Nomad Points, Asgard's currency used for trading and upgrading. You will need to kill a level 47 Hobgoblin, which is why I'd recommend a few combat levels before doing the quest.

You can begin the quest by speaking with Toby, just outside of the bank

Once you've gotten a few levels and completed the Knowledge to Asgard quest, you have several paths you can follow

  • a.) Go to Pest Control for Elite Void armour immediately, but you're going to want to bring a friend or two for the sake of efficiency. You can try to solo Pest Control if you prefer.
  • b.) Focus on Achievements to earn a bit of Nomad to upgrade gear and weapons if you opted not to do the Kill Rock Crabs achievement
  • c.) Maxing your account. You should max your account for the Max cape and it's benefits, or to start up on your prestiging journey. I recommend against this early on, as there are several options in game to boost your experience gains in the long run.

No matter which route you choose to go, you should find yourself understanding Asgard fairly quickly.

The rest of your adventure is up to you.
