Welcome to the Asgard starter guide[]
Here you'll find a lot of information to help you get started inside of Asgard!
First Starting: Things you should do before starting your journey[]
Referral tutor[]
First off is the Referral Tutor and daily reward wizard. These kind fellas are located in the bank at Home (Ctrl + H or ::home). When you talk to the Referral Tutor, you can claim various referral rewards on up to 3 accounts.
Voting[]
You get some very good loot from voting every 12 hours including;
- super vote boxes
- other various boxes
- fortune spins
- vote entry tokens
To vote;
- Type in game '::vote'
- Enter your in game name, in the web page you are taken to
- Click on the links that takes you to the voting website, and vote
- Once voted, go back in game and type '::voted'
Link Discord[]
Linking your discord account to the server, will give you discord points in game that you can spend, to buy some good starter equipment
Steps to linking discord:
- Head to the discord channel - https://discord.gg/6VUKMZEtBd > General > Discord-Link
- Type !connect in this chat and you will be sent a message from the Asgard bot
- Go back to the Spinning discord npc in game, and press 'sync'
- Type in the code the bot sent you and your account is linked
Also as a note boosting the discord server, using your Linked discord account, automatically gives a weekly reward of:

AFK zone[]
The AFK zone is a very good way of making some money as a starter or buying upgrades, while your not even playing.
You can get to this zone by typing ::afk, and interact with anything at this zone and wait a few seconds and you will start afking. while afking you will gain points which can be seen in the character info interface (in the quest tab) and spent in the ::afkstore for items like;
- $ Donor scrolls
- EXP lamps
- Boxes
- Afk robes (you get 2x afk points with the set equipped)
you can heavily increase your afk points by having a pet with the afk mastery perk
Donator ranks[]
Donator ranks give you some massive benefits in game, and can be seen here. You don't even need to donate!!!
You can gain donator ranks from $ scrolls. These scrolls can be gained from the following sources;
- Brought from other players
- From the ::afkstore
- Most boxes
You can see how much donated you have on your account by going to the 'Quest tab > Character info tab'. This will show;
- On the top your donator credits - which can be spent in the donator shop
- On the left - the amount you have donated to the server
- On the right - the combined total of your donated + $ scrolls used
Global Bosses and Bonus Loot[]
Global bosses can be killed for some juicy loot, and spawn under specific circumstances

Galvek spawns when the donation amount of $500 has been reached, and you can get here with ::db
|
|
Groot spawn is based on a point system from boss and monster kills, and you can get here with ::groot
|
|
Vote Boss spawns once the vote threshold has been reached, and you can get here with ::vb
|
Fifty cent spawns, and you can get here with ::db
|
|
Durial can be spawned by players using "Durial Tickets.", you can get here using ::fally
Hotdrop
HotDrop Boss can be initiated during stream events, game events and is also triggered at certain donation/vote thresholds ! This boss copies the loot table from other bosses, with a better drop rate, and allows players to farm it for quick/mass kills ! . You can get to this boss by using ::hotdrop
Early-Mid Progression:[]
Starting Quest[]
Starting out you should do the 'Knowledge to Asgard' quest
This will give you a basic tutorial and introduction to the server
Achievements, Clue Scrolls for Starting Nomads and Dissolves[]
The next step could be to work on achievements to get some loot, opening clue scrolls for 3rd age to dissolve, and dissolving basic loot from PVM
The best way to get clue scrolls is to mine coal with the best pickaxe you have, for the geodes and open them. clue steps do not need to be completed to get a casket, you just need to click on the clue and voila!!! you can also upgrade clue scrolls into master clues by taking 1 of each (easy, medium, hard), to Watson, just outside the bank

Perks and perk minigame[]
Perks can be gained from various sources, but the main way is the perk minigame, or the donator shop,
The two must have perks you can get from the donator shop are;
- Cleptomaniac - picks up all drops and sends them to the bank
- Pot of gold - you can have 2x of these equipped at the same time for a +40% drop rate boost
You can also get these two perks from;
- Bought from other players
- Donator boxes
- Fortune spins
You can have a total of nine (9) perks equipped at the same time, and can swap them out whenever you want, depending on what situation you need them for, by going to your 'show equipment stats' tab
They give a multitude of different boosts that will benefit your account, for all content in the server
The perk minigame is also a good way to train combat early game
EXP Boosts, Skilling Minigame and Prestige[]
Prestiging is another way to gain some massive passive boosts, including; damage boosts, EXP boosts and extra keys while doing raids
Before you start prestiging there is some things you will need/want;
- Deco robes - Wearing the full set gives you a 1.5x exp boost
- Skilling minigame - A good way to get heaps of xp
Pets[]
Pets can give massive boosts to your playing experience, from multiple combat, skilling and quality of life boosts
Pets gain experience and level up as you do, and gain skill points you can use to level up perks you have rolled on them. the full guide can be seen here
Early - Mid tier melee progression[]

Elite void can be gained fairly easily from multiple sources like, most global bosses and unicows, and then upgraded at the strange machine to the elite and elite (or) version.

Torva is your next milestone. The main source is Nex but you can also get it from the global boss Durial and the avatar of destruction

3. Ember
Ember is the end of your mid tier progression, before you move onto the end game content, this armour set gives you a massive increase in dmg. the main source is Manticore, but you can also get it from the global boss Groot

2. Scythe of Vitur
Your first melee AOE weapon!!!

3. Sanguine Scythe/Blood Scythe
An upgraded scythe of vitur. as well as the drop sources below, they can be made in the strange machine
The blood scythe can be dropped by the global boss Fiftycent
|

4. Demon x Scythe
The only way to get the demon x scythe is by upgrading the blood scythe using 25x eye of the corruptors from arbograve
This will be the end of your melee mid tier progression
Early - Mid tier mage progression[]

The only way to get the demon x staff is by upgrading the Tumeken's Shadow using 25x eye of the corruptors from arbograve
This will be the end of your mage mid tier progression

Plague is the end of your mid tier progression, before you move onto the end game content, this armour set gives you a massive increase in dmg. the main source is Javelin colossus, but you can also get it from the global boss Groot

1. Dragon Hunter Crossbow (b)

2. Blazing blowpipe
This blowpipe will see you all the way to the end game, and is even used on some end game bosses
| The only way to get this blowpipe is to
create it on an anvil using;
|
|
3. Demon X Crossbow
Early game, the only source for Demon x Crossbow is from Skeleton champions, once you have both shield halves from Corp and Nex
You can also get the Ancient crystal from here, which when used on the crossbow, gives the bow a 2x hit
Juan and Devouts[]
Juan gloves and Devout boots are a MUST, to start your mid-end game grind
Without them, it will be virtually impossible to do most bosses and raids
To make these you will need to take the following to Alec Kincade, near the shops at ::home
- Juan gloves - 10 healer icons + 10 defender icons + 5 Barrows Gloves (Wrapped)
- Devout boots - 10 collector icons + 10 attack icons + 10 Primordial, Pegasian OR Eternal boots.
Arbo Raids, Demon x and Lightbearer[]
Arbograve raid is the start of your mid-end game grind. it is awesome for getting Nomads from all the dissolves, and materials to create all the demon x weapons. You can also get the Lightbearer ring, which gives;
- 20% drop rate
- increased spec regen
